Social Welfare Department

Various schemes and activities are implemented by the social justice and special assistance department of the government through the social welfare department of the Zilla Parishad to raise the social and educational standard of living of the backward classes and for their upliftment. Also, according to the policy orders of the government, the Zilla Parishads spend at least 20% of their income on the welfare schemes of the backward classes.
