Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Temple Shegaon

On 23rd February, 1878 on Magh Vaidya Saptami, Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj appeared under a grand banyan tree near Paturkar’s palace. Sri.Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan established Pragatsthala Vastu in front of this ancient banyan tree where this perfect and bright form of Parabramha was revealed here.This open space has been creatively carved out of marble stone in a very attractive way. Here the Sansthan has built a grand hall and this building can be used for auspicious work as a public utility.
In the year 1908 AD, Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan was established in the presence and consent of Shri Gajanan Maharaj.A highly disciplined service system, morally and tirelessly working servants and the true glory of Shri have come together and the function of the organization Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Shegaon has expanded.
The institution has achieved the impossible with the principle that service is the means without giving support to caste discrimination and caste discrimination.
