Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Development Mission (DAY NRLM)
Through community organizations, self-help groups (SHGs) of women from poor, needy and disadvantaged families in the village are being formed and village-wise village associations (VOs) of these groups are being formed. Also, ward associations (CLFs) are being formed at the ward level of the Zilla Parishad. Also, efforts are being made to create at least 3 sources of sustainable livelihood for each family through women farmer producer companies and producer groups so that the minimum income of that family is one lakh per year. Through village associations, various pilot projects are being implemented, benefits of government schemes are being obtained, women’s participation in local self-government bodies is being increased, community resource persons are being selected and their capacity is being built, opportunities are being provided for women to be included in the mainstream of village development, various products prepared by women groups are being marketed in different ways and necessary guidance is being provided to increase the quality of the products.
