Agriculture Department

                 The Head of the Department of Agriculture is Agriculture Development Officer (Class-1). To help them, three gazetted officers namely District Agriculture Officer (General Class-2), Mission Officer (Class-2), District Agriculture Officer SCP Class-2) have been appointed by the government. In order to smooth the work of the Agriculture Department, under the Panchayat Samiti at the taluka level, the staff of Agriculture Officers and Extension Officers (Agriculture) look after the subordinate work of the Block Development Officers. Through them, the schemes of the agriculture department are conveyed to the farmers. The aim of the Agriculture Department is to improve the economic condition of the farmers and improve the standard of living of the farmers.
